About the Project
Dr. Bebout’s Cabinet of Medical Curiosities is a digital museum dedicated to preserving the artifacts, books, and practices that shaped the history of medicine.
Curated by family physician Dr. William Bebout, the Cabinet documents authentic medical bottles, instruments, prescriptions, and rare textbooks dating from the 1700s to mid-1900s.
Each item is photographed, researched, and published with its historical context and modern commentary, offering an unfiltered look at how medicine evolved from superstition to science.
